Chick-fil-A Training Opportunity: October 13-15
Employ 210 is offering a free, three-day training session designed to prepare participants to apply to work in the prep kitchen at Chick-fil-A on Kitty Hawk Road in Universal City. Taking place October 13-15 at Morgan’s MAC (Multi-Assistance Center), this training is designed specifically for neurodivergent individuals who are interested in building skills in customer service and food service.
Candidates should preferably have prior experience in food service or customer service reflected on their resume; be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment; have flexible task management and effective communication skills; be able to independently manage and schedule work shifts; and be comfortable on their feet for long hours during shifts.

Instructional Assistant + Volunteer Opportunity

T/Th June 2 and 4 from 2:00pm-4:00pm
An Instructional Assistant supports students with special needs by assisting with instruction, behavior management, personal care, safety, social skills, and the implementation of individualized educational goals in the classroom. After training, participants are invited to volunteer with Camp Durango to gain experience working with children who have disabilities in an educational and fun setting. Volunteers will be accompanied by Employ 210 staff. The following volunteer weeks/times are:

After completing the training, participants will be prepared to apply to their desired school district for the upcoming school year, with opportunities for both full-time and substitute positions that offer flexible scheduling.

Interested participants should have:
